National Health Care Plan
A National Health Care Plan consisting of a plan similar to the one devised by The Republic of Tai Wan, wherein there is a single payer, but also shared expenses by the consumer, and where prices for all medical procedures are set by the government, which shall commence in this country and become the law of the land starting on June 31, 2009. Congressional Failure to introduce and pass such a plan shall result in their Salaries being suspended until such a time as it is done in accordance with this measure and includes all these features..
The little island nation of Tai Wan recently decided to replace their aging Health Care System which was similar to OURS where everyone was going BANKRUPT when they got older and became sick. So, the Government sent experts all over the world and studies all the best Health Care Plans in all the major industrialized nations. They picked and chose the best features of all of the plans adopted around the world. The results is something that is very inexpensive and it works. No one has gone bankrupt in their country due to health issues since their plan was adopted. There is only one payer, The Government and all prices are set and put into a catalog where the Health Care providers can look and see how much they will get paid. Doctors and Hospitals will not support this idea because they enjoy becoming INCREDIBLY WEALTHY on the sickness and diseases of their fellow man.
In Tai Wan, the Doctors make a good living equal to about $200,000 per year and there are BONUSES for KEEPING THEIR PATIENTS HEALTHY which can earn them another $100,000 or so per year. WHAT BETTER WAY TO REWARD the health care professional? Give them BONUSES for how EFFECTIVE they are in keeping us all healthy. WOW, what a concept.
