PULL ALL US TROOPS OUT OF IRAQ
The RETURN of all US TROOPS from Iraq back to their home bases by Jan. 1 2009.
All current deployment to IRAQ ceases upon the date of passage of this bill and the redeployment home begins and is completed no later than Jan 1 2009.
The measure would stop all the PROMISES and LIES in Congress and make it possible to return all our brave United States Troops and other personnel in a reasonable time to stop the MASSIVE RED INK and TERRIFIC loss of life. How do you support the TROOPS? Not by keeping them in harms way where the religious fanatics can pick them off one by one, killing them and tearing off their limbs by the hundreds every month. So far, more than 50,000 of our brave young boys and girls are killed or maimed horribly EACH YEAR this bloody stupid conflict continues. Over 200,000 of them in total so far.
This would be a HORRIBLE IDEA if we were in the right war. If this were World War II, no one in their right mind would vote to return all the troops home. But, in World War II, we were not LIED to by the President about the Japanese attacking Pearl Harbor. We were not lied to about where the enemy really is. President Bush told us that Al Quada was busy in Iraq making nuclear weapons and he knew full well that Osama Bin Laden was in Pakistan. He had to have known that because that's where our TROOPS LEFT HIM. This is where they PLEADED with their Commander-In-Chief to go and KILL BIN LADEN. They had him in their gun sights. But, at this critical moment, President Bush decided to turn the troops in the opposite direction to attack Iraq and ALLOW OSAMA BIN LADEN TO GO SCOTT FREE where he has been living happily ever since planning more deadly attacks on America.
Let's BRING the TROOPS home for some well-deserved rest and then when a new President has a better sense of honor and direction and then launches our military might where it might do some good, against the real enemy in Pakistan. We have to GET RID of this THREAT that Osama Bin Laden makes. Spying on Americans, making it more difficult to buy things and to travel is LETTING THE TERRORISTS WIN. We have to go get them and COUNTER-ACT this constant threat or world civilization is not worth a nickel.
Why President Bush was not impeached for A. Lying to us about where the terrorism threat was and B. turning away from killing Osama Bin Laden is beyond my understanding. Instead, he just allows the Price of Gasoline to rise and rise until THE TERRORISTS have finally WON.
